How to use Metal Detector in RDR2

Firstly, equip the metal detector by selecting it in the items section.

Here's the thing, the metal detector light will lit less times if you are away from the collectible and it will lit many times if you are close to the collectible.

If you are playing on a console or with a controller then the number of vibrations will also increase as you will come closer to the collectable and it will decrease when the collectable is away from the metal detector.
